Limoges  does not give up its secrets readily. There are actually two main parts to the city; one is the area around the cathedral which boasts a superb museum with a wonderful display of enameling and porcelain, fascinating gardens where every plant that grows in the region is displayed and labeled, as well as some lovely old buildings many of which are bars and small restaurants . The second main area is Limoges Centres and the Covered Market along with Butcher's Row and the amazing little Butcher's Chapel. All the shops of Limoges are in this area.
