St. Pardoux is the largest lake in the area (there are over a thousand lakes in Haute Vienne). St. Pardoux is equal in size to Lake Windemere and has similar activities, ie; sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, fishing, etc. The main difference is this lake has 3 beaches with imported sand . The water is warm and clean and quite safe--the water is tested regularly for contaminates. These beaches are heaven for small children with lots for them to do. There are picnic areas as well as ample parking. The surrounding area has many pretty villages and there is a tourist office too. Distance from Les Ages: 5 miles
